The Lions of Bledlow
This
unspoiled, traditional, 16th century Free House is located
at the foot of the Chilterns, ideal for combining a beautiful
scenic walk with refreshment. The low original oak beams point
toward the log fire, a vista frequently featured in Midsomer
Murders amongst other TV series. The spacious garden overflows
onto the village green where one might see a steam train pass
on the Chinnor/Prince Risborough private railway. The printed
menus are supplemented by specials boards which might offer
lamb's liver and bacon with bubble and squeak, salmon fillet
with honey mustard dressing or spinach and potato cakes with
chilli sauce. We are CAMRA listed and have a good range of
real ales including Wadworth 6X, a local brew and others,
including Loddon, Tring and Burton Bridge.
The separate dining room is ideal for private functions.
